Copenhagen Wolves have come out on top in group B, followed up by n!faculty. NiP advance as second seed from group A after a win versus TeG.
The Danes started their run in Bucharest on de_mirage_ce with a 16-7 win versus local IGG, while n!faculty lost ten rounds in their opener versus the Bulgarian HSBG on de_mirage_ce.
Despite trailing 4-13 early on versus Cph Wolves, n!faculty mustered a comeback and brought the game into overtime before the Danes playing without in-game leader Henrik "FeTiSh" Christensen prevailed.
Friis' Cph Wolves topped group B
The Bulgarians knocked IGG out of the tournament quickly, and then faced n!faculty in the deciding match, once again on de_mirage_ce, and with the same fate, this time getting eleven rounds before having to bow out.
Group A saw NiP run over The Elder Gods 16-3 on de_inferno_se to clinch a second place finish and advancement to the playoffs together with fnatic, Cph Wolves and n!faculty.
